About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Business Development Specialist to join our Amazon Bedrock team within the AWS Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies that drive revenue growth and customer adoption of AWS services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business plans to drive revenue growth and customer adoption of AWS services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including CxO/VP level executives, developers, and technical architects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Product, to develop and execute go-to-market strategies.
  • Provide technical thought leadership and expertise to customers, including reference architectures, patterns, automation, and release plans.
  • Work with Marketing to develop and align digital marketing campaigns to drive awareness and demand.
  • Own the GTM strategy and execution for Amazon Bedrock in the Startup US West region, collaborating with teams in the field including Sales, Partners, Marketing, and other Specialists.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
  • 7+ years of relevant GTM, Sales, or Consulting experience.
  • 5+ years of technology domain experience in LLM, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and GenAI related fields.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Startup background and experience at a VC or PE-backed firm in a Product, BD, or Sales Executive capacity.
  • Established track record of building rapport with Startup executives and closing strategic deals.
  • Familiarity with opensource software used by Startups and working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
  • Strong database storytelling skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with Startup executives and developers.
  • Recognized industry expertise in primary discipline(s) with proven public speaking prowess.
  • Cloud expertise as demonstrated by one or more cloud certifications.
  • A Advanced degree highly preferred, especially an MBA or MS in CS or Engineering.
