About the Role">

As an experienced professional in energy underwriting, you will play a key role in managing risk and developing strategic relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mind, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.


">Key Responsibilities">
  • ">Managing a portfolio of energy accounts, including oil and gas facilities, petrochemicals, pipelines, mines, and power plants.">
  • ">Analyzing coverage, exposures, wordings, premiums, and insurability of energy risks.">
  • ">Developing and maintaining strong relationships with brokers and clients.">
  • ">Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify cross-selling opportunities.">
  • ">Participating in special projects and contributing to team operations.">

">About You">

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ">A minimum of 8 years' experience in property energy underwriting.">
  • ">Deep knowledge of energy onshore, mining, and power and utilities.">
  • ">Strong analytical skills and ability to evaluate complex data.">
  • ">Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.">
  • ">Fluency in English (written and spoken).">
  • ">Strong insurance/reinsurance knowledge and negotiation skills.">
  • ">Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to turn customer needs into deals.">
