API Business Development Manager

The ideal candidate will be responsible for cultivating and growing relationships with clients, driving revenue growth through strategic API account management, and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.

To achieve this, they will analyze market trends and sales data to identify opportunities, facilitate seamless onboarding processes, and serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts while developing targeted plans to meet sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate and grow client relationships to drive revenue growth
  • Optimize API account performance, conversion rates, and revenue
  • Analyze sales data, API metrics, and usage patterns to inform business decisions
  • Act as primary point of contact for assigned accounts, providing exceptional support and service
  • Facilitate client onboarding and training on booking platforms to ensure smooth adoption
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of the competition
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to increase revenue streams
  • Develop and implement account plans to meet sales targets and drive business growth
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Data Analytics, Business, Travel, or related field
  • Experience in API account management, sales, or business development (B2B travel)
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills to inform business decisions
  • Proficiency with APIs, business intelligence tools, CRM systems, and self-booking platforms
  • Fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish
Technical Skills:
  • Microsoft Office, Teams, Google Sheets
  • PBI, CRM, API booking engines
