Frontend Developer Job Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled frontend engineer to contribute to the development of one of the world's largest online communities and discussion platforms.

This is a 100% remote opportunity for professionals based in Brazil who are fluent in English. As a frontend developer, you will be working on building user-facing web applications at scale using TypeScript.

The ideal candidate will have solid knowledge of GraphQL and HTTP basics, as well as experience with backend technologies such as service development, databases, and Kubernetes. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and deliver projects on time are also essential.

About the Role:

  • Develop, maintain, and support all features of the platform's frontend.
  • Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Collaborate with the team on future features and visual design possibilities.
  • Manage assigned tasks and ensure clear communication on progress, questions, and risks.
  • Contribute to technical discussions and share best practices with a global, remote team.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of software engineering experience, primarily focused on building user-facing web applications at scale.
  • Solid knowledge of GraphQL and HTTP basics.
  • Backend experience (service development, databases, Kubernetes) and ability to design maintainable APIs is a strong plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and deliver projects on time.
  • Self-directed, proactive, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written) to effectively collaborate with remote teams and convey complex technical topics.

Contract Details:

  • Type: Temporary (6–9 months).
