Business Development Lead Strategy

Lhr Américas is seeking an experienced Business Development Lead to drive strategic growth and identify new business opportunities across various markets. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for generating new business ideas, assessing their feasibility, and developing business plans and financial models.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate new business ideas and assess their feasibility
  • Articulate rationale for pursuing identified opportunities
  • Engage with internal and external entities to stay informed about current or emerging business trends
  • Lead and conduct desktop market research
  • Develop business plans and financial models
  • Manage cross-functional teams to develop business plans for new business opportunities
  • Continuously review and enhance the business origination process
  • Mentor and coach junior staff members

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Banking, or equivalent
  • 10 years of relevant experience with exposure to multiple industries
  • Broad industry experience, including oil and gas, technology, professional services, real estate, and infrastructure
  • Strong finance background, including experience in financial valuations and modeling
  • Background in strategy development or relevant experience
  • Experience with developing deal strategy and market positioning
  • Strong analytical ability to synthesize data into meaningful insight
  • Experience with market intelligence platforms, analytics, and reports
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills
