Job Description

Job Title: Associate, Learning Operations

Job Summary:

The Associate, Learning Operations is a key member of our team responsible for achieving business and learning goals for a defined region or business unit. This role requires a high level of coordination and logistical support to ensure seamless delivery of training programs, events, and workshops.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Service Excellence: Work closely with regional delivery managers to provide exceptional service to our clients.
  2. Operational Support: Collaborate with NIIT program managers and project managers to ensure service levels are met and operational processes are optimized.
  3. Performance Review: Participate in performance review meetings at the regional and global levels to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  4. Process Improvement: Contribute to defining operational processes for continuous improvement and adherence to service level agreements.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong partnering relationships with NIIT and client regional stakeholders to drive business intimacy and collaboration.
  6. Sourcing Management: Engage with business stakeholders to efficiently manage large sourcing requirements in the region.
  7. Supplier Management: Engage with key suppliers to efficiently manage large sourcing requirements.
  8. Training Support: Educate and guide service requestors, managers, and functional capability leads on process systems and processes.
  9. Learning Solutions: Educate and guide service requestors on the value of using NIIT services, new learning methodologies, and architecture.
  10. Regional Support: Provide support and meaningful engagement to regional HR stakeholders in tailoring requirements.
  11. Supplier Review: Review performance and ensure quality standards are met by suppliers.
  12. Event Support: Provide updates to regional delivery managers and key business stakeholders on supplier engagements.
  13. Onsite Support: Provide additional onsite support to operations teams as needed.
  14. Event Readiness: Ensure onsite training event activities are performed as per the Event Readiness Process/System.
  15. Logistical Support: Arrange for training materials, manuals, handouts, and other instructional aids; arrange for equipment setup and refreshments.
  16. Training Logistics: Manage training logistics, including training room booking, access management, and photographer coordination.
  17. Training Completion: Monitor completion of training activities, including pre-work and certificates.
  18. Remote Coordination: Calibrate with remote coordinators for any changes or updates in the training event or program.
  19. Participant Support: Ensure all arrangements are made for participants and trainers.
  20. Vendor Communication: Communicate with venue staff and vendors to ensure scheduled training breaks align with the facility's meal schedule.
  21. Event Setup: Ensure the Event Facilities are set up correctly and have the necessary equipment, along with clear messaging of the class.
  22. Speaker Support: Escort external instructors in and out of the training facility.
  23. Program Briefing: Participate in the kick-off of the program, administer essential program briefings, and calibrate with the speaker and stakeholders.
  24. Vendor Management: Communicate with internal and external vendors, ready the Purchase Order as required.

Requirements:

  1. Education: A graduate with a minimum of five years' experience working onsite at large corporate customer locations.
  2. Experience: Minimum three years' experience working in a matrix reporting structure; NIIT delivery and strategic sourcing practices along with L&D teams.
  3. Skills: Proactive approach to delivering solutions, be innovative and challenge as required. Customer-focused and commercially aware to deliver outstanding results.
  4. Negotiation Skills: Effective negotiation skills are an advantage to support strategic sourcing and gain savings.
