Position Overview

Amazon Serviços de Varejo do Brasil Ltda. is seeking a Senior Manager of Commercial Planning to enhance our Retail operations in Brazil.

In this role, you will take charge of the strategy and implementation of significant projects concerning Demand Planning, Forecasting, Purchasing, Vendor Performance, and Inventory Management. Your efforts will aim to optimize product availability, profit margins, and inventory turnover for your designated Product Family or across Retail.

The ideal candidate excels in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adeptly managing both tactical and strategic initiatives simultaneously while working independently.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Manager of Commercial Planning will:

  • Analyze supply chain operations using extensive data to pinpoint the root causes of operational challenges;
  • Develop action plans and projects to rectify supply chain defects, ensuring sustainable long-term outcomes;
  • Collaborate and foster relationships with the Product Family Team and Central Team to enhance processes and projects.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field in Supply Chain/Operations/Logistics;
  • Extensive experience in Supply Chain management, performance metrics, project management, retail, or consulting;
  • Strong sense of ownership, analytical capabilities, numerical proficiency, problem-solving, and project management skills;
  • Exceptional self-organization, prioritization, and time management abilities;
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese;
  • Adaptable, results-driven, self-motivated, and comfortable working with large datasets and tools;
  • Ability to identify needs and propose alternative solutions for operational processes;
  • Experience with SQL.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in purchasing and inventory management within e-commerce/retail or project management in a consulting environment;
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma.
