Job Opportunity

The Construction Manager position offers a unique blend of site evaluations, surveys, and stakeholder interactions. This role requires excellent decision-making skills, strong interpersonal relationships, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

  • Conduct thorough site evaluations and surveys, providing detailed documentation and photographs as required.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify feasibility and perform site walks.
  • Represent clients at job sites and assist in the selection of qualified subcontractors.
  • Manage contractors to ensure schedule performance, safety, and quality workmanship.
  • Work closely with design teams to develop value engineering options and review designs with stakeholders.
  • Maintain relationships with local authorities, ensuring compliance with permitting and construction inspection requirements.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 10 years of field experience or relevant certification, along with a Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field.
  • A valid driver's license and excellent driving record are essential.
  • Strong self-motivation, decision-making abilities, and excellent interpersonal skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and manage multiple site projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel, is also required.
Environment
  • This position requires frequent travel to various project locations, with approximately 75% of time spent outdoors.
