The Regional Sales Director role involves driving business and revenue growth for a sales region, overseeing the recruitment, training, and management of Area Sales Managers to build a high-performing team.
Responsibilities:- Develop and execute comprehensive business strategies for the sales region
- Recruit, hire, and train Area Sales Managers with exceptional leadership skills
- Prepare detailed forecasts, manage territories, and develop targeted growth plans
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through research, networking, and referrals
- Travel within the regional territory to build relationships, demonstrate products, and close deals effectively
- A minimum of 8 years of experience as a sales leader in the automotive industry, particularly with dealerships
- Proven success in selling solutions or services to dealerships, with a strong understanding of dealership operations and market trends
- A track record of meeting or exceeding monthly and annual sales targets
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, build, and manage a high-performing sales team with excellent communication skills
- Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and leadership abilities
