About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Engagement Specialist to join our team at Braze. As a key member of our Global Services and Support team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our customers' WhatsApp onboarding experience.

Responsibilities

- Support customers in setting up and configuring their WhatsApp channel, including new and existing clients.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest WhatsApp setup processes, best practices, and functions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Technical Support, Customer Success, and Product, to address customer escalations and requests related to WhatsApp.
- Interface with Meta during customer setup, troubleshooting, and support escalations.
- Develop and maintain documentation, such as best practices and playbooks, to support repeatability as we scale this channel and its operations.

Requirements

- 1-3 years of experience in an operational role with a technical product, preferably in a SaaS, mobile, or marketing automation-oriented company.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive accuracy through personal performance.
- Familiarity with WhatsApp as a messaging channel, although this is not mandatory.
