Are you a seasoned professional looking for a new challenge? Canonical is seeking a skilled Travel Operations Manager to lead our travel, logistics, and event planning teams.

Job Description:

We coordinate large-scale company events that involve travel for hundreds of people from around the world. Our team is responsible for travel procurement and logistics, ensuring these events run efficiently and safely. This role requires outstanding coordination, planning, decision-making, budgeting, procurement, reporting, and management skills.

This team also serves as an independent check on expense claim approval, ensuring fairness and consistency across teams and countries. The ideal candidate will have exceptional judgment and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to hold people accountable and defend positions of policy.

The Travel Operations Manager will oversee our global duty of care, health, and safety programs with comprehensive policies and practices. They will manage company offices that provide executive briefing and operational facilities, and provide traditional EA services for company leads across departments.

This is a fast-paced and complex operation in the tech industry. We are looking for someone who can work in a global, multicultural organisation and has excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, responsibility, accountability, thoughtfulness, and self-awareness.
