Job Description:

The role of Senior Retail Manager at Amazon Brazil is pivotal in driving the retail business forward by adding selection, analyzing business data, and negotiating vendor performance. You will work closely with vendors to drive terms improvements, including analysis and projections, as well as direct negotiations with decision makers.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the retail business end-to-end for subcategories or vendor groups, including the entire profit and loss statement.
  • Drive selection, secure great prices, and increase convenience/speed to accelerate Amazon's flywheel. Audit and escalate the performance of vendors, focusing on top vendors while managing lower-tier vendors.
  • Act as the owner of vendor relationships: negotiate terms and cost structures, develop long-term partnerships, and drive topline and selection for category growth.
  • Collaborate with central and functional teams to represent customer and business needs, drive customer-facing improvements, and implement centrally driven initiatives within the category.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Team management experience;
  • Account management, project or program management, or buying experience;
  • Experience with vendor negotiations, pricing, promotion, or inventory management;
  • Master's degree;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Access or SQL;
  • Experience using data to influence business decisions;
  • Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration;
  • Experience with business analysis and P&L management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams.
