Job Opportunity: Partner Support Specialist
Job DescriptionWe're seeking an experienced professional to support our Partner Sales channel, working with accounting and bookkeeping firms to migrate clients onto the Xero platform.
Your role will involve collaborating with our Partner Consulting team and Global Migration Team to assist in data migration projects, delivering training and webinar sessions to accountants and bookkeepers, and executing onboarding and client conversion plans.
You'll work closely with partners to demonstrate Xero solutions, implement plans for Partners, and educate them on available resources. You'll also maintain and update CRM systems, manage resource creation, and prepare and lead external meetings.
- Demonstrate Xero solutions to Accountants and Bookkeepers
- Work closely with Partner Consulting team to deliver implementation plans for Partners
- Assist partners with data conversions through detailed project planning and training guidance
- Educate partners on all partner resources available, handling Partner technical queries and escalations
- Updating CRM system (Salesforce) with all client communications including calls, emails and meetings
- Maintaining and updating CRM system of all practice staff and contact details
- Manage the creation of resources (processes/videos) for frequently asked questions from Partners
- Prepare and lead external meetings
- Onboarding meetings and client conversions
Critical Competencies:
- A passion for SaaS and the online accounting market.
- Clear communication and presentation skills that can be harnessed for product demonstrations.
- Ability to create a quick and strong rapport with other professionals.

Experience:
- Some knowledge of the workings of an accounting practice and related systems.
- Some experience and accounting software knowledge.
- Intimate knowledge of Xero.
- Have been introduced to and able to understand financial reporting, tax returns and compliance work.
- Strong understanding of the fundamentals of accounting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting.
- 1+ years of experience in accounting software.
- Knowledge of Xero and its features.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50-75% of the time.
