We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to spearhead our market development efforts in South America, focusing on the Woodworking and Composites Panel industries. Your primary objective will be to drive sustainable sales and profit growth, aligned with our Global market focus segments.
As a key member of our team, you will actively manage and coordinate all aspects of the sales process, serving as the focal point for information flow between our company and target accounts. This includes identifying and validating new sales targets, developing a pipeline of opportunities in line with agreed business objectives, and executing high-profit promotion strategies.
You will also partner with relevant global resources (R&D, Marketing, Operations, Customer Service, and Applications Engineering) to deliver solutions that fully meet customers' needs and timelines. Additionally, you will be responsible for timely, accurate monthly reports, CRM database updates, and project updates.
Required Skills and Qualifications- BS degree, preferably in a Technical or Science field
- 8+ years of experience in key account management, specifically in the Woodworking or Composites Panel industry or related technical field
- Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver compelling technical sales presentations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
