About the Role

Genesys is seeking a seasoned Account Director to join our Strategic Sales Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining close relationships with key partners and customers in the Books category.

Your primary focus will be on accelerating the long-term growth of these accounts, ensuring their operational performance, and monitoring results and strategy. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders, including C-Level executives and teams across the Genesys organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute customized growth acceleration plans for each economic group;
  • Manage your territory, driving business growth and ensuring performance and goals are met;
  • Align with key stakeholders on business strategy and analyze key KPIs to inform decision-making;
  • Suggest process improvements and collaborate with internal partners to drive them to completion.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in client or vendor-facing roles with a focus on relationship management and negotiation skills;
  • Strong analytical abilities and proficiency in Excel and Power Point;
  • Advanced English proficiency and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders;
  • Experience in strategy, consultancy, financial analysis, category management, account management, product management, or marketing;
  • Ability to take ownership and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
