Key Role in HR Operations

The Human Resources (HR) Generalist plays a vital role in the Regional HR Business Partner team, providing critical support to employees and managers across offices in Latin America and Canada. This position requires expertise in executing people initiatives, handling day-to-day operations, and collaborating with HR colleagues.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Employee Support: Respond to employee inquiries on company policies, procedures, recruitment, benefits, and wellness programs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Onboarding Process Management: Coordinate new hire documentation, communications, and other actions to enhance the new hires' onboarding experience, including facilitating training sessions.
  • Exit Process Coordination: Manage the full-cycle exit process for regular and fixed-term employees, ensuring seamless transitions and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Talent Development Initiatives: Assist in planning and scheduling talent development initiatives, supporting the growth and development of employees.
  • Recruitment Process Support: Provide administrative support during the recruitment process, including creating job requisitions, posting jobs, sourcing and screening candidates, and coordinating candidate interviews.
  • Early Career Programs: Assist with the development, management, and execution of early career programs, including internship and trainee programs, to foster growth and development opportunities for new employees.
  • Employee Engagement Initiatives: Support the implementation of employee engagement related initiatives and programs, promoting a positive work environment and enhancing employee satisfaction.
  • HR Projects and Initiatives: Manage a diverse set of company-wide HR projects and initiatives as assigned, demonstrating expertise and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Trilingual Fluency: Possess trilingual fluency in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, with the ability to conduct professional business communications in all three languages.
  • Client-Centric Mindset: Demonstrate a client-centric mindset, maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and exercising good judgment in all interactions.
  • Proactive Approach: Take initiative, possess business savvy, and demonstrate the ability to learn the organization's business quickly.
  • Technical Skills: Exhibit high-level proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and have a working knowledge of HR systems and applicant tracking systems.
  • Project Management Skills: Showcase strong project management skills, a bias for action, and problem-solving abilities, with excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate attention to detail, prioritize tasks effectively, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Labor Laws: Possess thorough knowledge of labor laws across Latin America and Canada, ensuring compliance and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Experience Needed:

A minimum of 4 years of related HR experience is required, preferably in multiple disciplines, including Operations and HRIS, with a degree in human resources or a related field being preferred.
