Asia Ocean Trade Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team in Asia. As a key member of our Freight Logistics and Operations department, you will play a vital role in streamlining processes and ensuring that inventory and shipments move efficiently.
Your work will have a significant impact on the timely delivery of essential goods. At our organization, we contribute to making a difference in various ways.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responding to tenders and RFQs, working closely with stakeholders to achieve end-to-end pricing.
- Developing relationships with carriers to secure the best possible rates, allocation, and service.
- Providing product and market expertise to customers, interfacing with them to meet their needs.
- Participating in sales meetings for selected customers, jointly with colleagues.
- Negotiating and maintaining competitive rates for all segments.
- Monitoring local charges and establishing country-specific rates with carriers.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in freight logistics and operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
