Job Summary

Porticus is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Program Manager to lead the development and implementation of strategic programs in the Latin America region, with a focus on the Strengthening our Societies Sector (SoS). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of philanthropy, program design, and development, as well as experience working with partners and contributing to partnership strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic programs in the Latin America region, with a focus on the SoS sector.
  • Identify opportunities for strategy-aligned projects and programs and manage grants for exploration in the region.
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with diverse networks in the region and globally.
  • Represent Porticus internally and externally, framing information for different audiences and engaging in relevant fora.
  • Contribute to annual reflection cycles and integrate learning into future work.

Requirements

  • Approx. 8+ years of work experience in Latin America Social Development and/or Philanthropy, particularly on Criminal Justice topics.
  • Strong background in philanthropy, program design and development, systems, networking, and community change.
  • Experience working with and through partners and contributing to partnership strategies.
  • Ability to think and act on a strategic level, accurately assess situations, and find appropriate solutions to generate impact.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with fluency in Portuguese and English required, and fluency in Spanish desired.

What We Offer

  • Full-time position with a competitive salary range of 250,000 to 330,000 BRL per year, depending on experience.

  • Domestic and international travel opportunities, estimated 4-6 times annually.
