HR Leadership Opportunity in South America

We are seeking a seasoned HR Manager to lead and manage all HR functions within the district, working closely with managers and employees to provide professional guidance on a wide range of HR topics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic HR Partnering: Develop and implement HR strategies, consult with managers on HR issues, and maintain strong relationships to identify and act on areas for improvement.
  • Employee Development and Performance Management: Lead the annual performance review process, build a leadership pipeline, and address training needs through internal and external resources.
  • Talent Acquisition and Retention: Establish and manage recruitment strategies, maintain the recruitment system, promote internal referrals, and work to improve staff engagement and retention.
  • Compensation and Benefits Administration: Oversee payroll processing, prepare annual staff cost budgets, lead salary reviews, benchmark salaries, and ensure competitive benefits packages.
  • HR Operations and Compliance: Coordinate labor law routines, negotiate with unions, administer HR policies and contractors, and manage HR budgets and documentation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in human resources management or Business Administration related discipline.
  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, local employment laws, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, positive mindset and self-drive.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Experience with SAP HR or similar HR systems is a plus. Fluent English and intermediate Spanish.
