We are seeking a skilled E-commerce expert to join our team. As a Shopify Support Developer, you will be responsible for providing first-level technical support, troubleshooting critical issues, and escalating as needed.

Key responsibilities include conducting incident analysis, postmortems, and documenting resolutions for continuous improvement. You will also engage with Product Management and business partners on system capability, design, and solutions.

Additional responsibilities include working with Development to ensure technical requirements, best practices, performance, and security. You will support Project Management with effort estimates, planning, and removing technical roadblocks.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of Shopify development experience, with knowledge of Shopify Plus. They will possess a solid understanding of the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and methodologies.

Flexibility to occasionally work 12-hour shifts as part of a rotating schedule, including some weekends and holidays, within a 24/7 support environment is required. Experience troubleshooting site issues using various tools is also necessary.

Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and attention to detail are essential. Experience with page performance optimization and secure development practices is also required.

A strong understanding of front-end caching, CDNs, and request-response flow is necessary. Familiarity with ticketing systems like Jira and strong verbal and written communication skills are also required.

You must be able to work independently and collaboratively in a team. A patient, empathetic, and customer-first mindset is essential. A continuous learning mindset and adaptability to new technologies and procedures are also necessary.

A minimum Upper-Intermediate English level is required.
