Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Lead to oversee payroll operations for Brazil, with additional exposure to LATAM payroll processing for Chile, Colombia and Mexico, and knowledge of US and Canada payroll systems.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Brazilian payroll regulations and processes, as well as experience with managing payroll operations across multiple countries. As a Payroll Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, compliance with local regulations, and maintaining employee data confidentiality.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, including taxation, benefits administration, and statutory compliance.
  • Comply with local regulations and maintain employee data confidentiality.
  • Manage payroll operations across multiple countries, with a focus on Brazil, LATAM and North America.
  • Maintain effective relationships with employees, management, and external stakeholders.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Extensive experience in payroll processing and management, with specific expertise in Brazilian payroll.
  • Skill Set: Strong knowledge of Brazilian labor laws, tax regulations, and social security contributions.
  • Bonus Points: Experience with LATAM payroll processing, particularly in Chile and Colombia, is highly desirable; Familiarity with US and Canada payroll systems and exposure to North American payroll regulations is a plus.
