About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Center Technician to join our team at Microsoft. As a Data Center Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our data centers, working closely with our experienced technicians to develop an understanding of standard processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to issue tracking through escalations, asking questions, and seeking guidance on timely resolution of issues.
  • Participate in daily safety briefings, complete required training, and comply with safety procedures.
  • Complete assigned tickets efficiently, meeting established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with guidance from other technicians.
  • Comply with security and data management procedures and policies, completing required security training.
  • Maintain a strong client focus, understanding the impact of their work when completing tickets and assigned tasks.
  • Contribute to a positive and effective team environment by sharing information, contributing to regular team meetings, and staying apprised of the status of others' work.
  • Take pride and a sense of accountability for the service quality, completeness, and ownership of the data center facilities.
