
Senior Business Development Manager Infrastructure Brazil

We seek a business development and relationship management professional to lead our corporate and infrastructure business in Brazil.
This key member of the team will bring new business opportunities and maintain the current portfolio. Objectives include increasing Fitch's coverage in Brazil and the broader region, capturing new opportunities in both local and international markets.
The role involves covering intermediaries and issuers, working closely with the team head to develop and maintain relationships with infrastructure sponsors and bankers. On the issuer side, the focus is on infrastructure issuers as part of the team that covers existing and target issuers.
Retention and value increase of the existing portfolio are also key responsibilities through retention strategies, value-added activities, and customer service actions.
Key Responsibilities:- Support corporates and infrastructure business development efforts in Brazil within a dynamic team.
- Exposure to high-level professionals across regional and global markets.
- Drive growth in a key market and contribute to success in Latin America.
- Participation in sector-focused events and initiatives.
Key tasks include:
- Driving new business through the origination of new rating mandates from issuers, bankers, and other players in the market.
- Developing and growing the business by leading, developing, and executing marketing strategies across new and existing relationships.
- Managing the deal pipeline and coordinating with internal and external teams.
- Meeting objectives established in alignment with senior BRM members.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, international relations or related field.
- Experience in business development, relationship management, or investor relations with understanding of financial analysis.
- Experience in DCM, project finance, and/or credit is a plus.
This role frequently participates in industry events and interacts with issuers, investors, bankers, sponsors, and other market participants.
