About This Role:

  • As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reviewing and negotiating sales agreements in Latin America. This involves collaborating with clients, sales teams, legal departments, finance teams, and operating business units to ensure compliance with country-level legal requirements and internal policies.
  • You will also play a critical role in managing Gartner's contracts and contractual relationships within assigned territories, communicating contractual requirements to internal stakeholders, and working closely with the legal team on negotiations and strategies for non-standard terms and finalizing agreements.

Responsibilities:

  1. Support Sales teams in reviewing client negotiations, requests for quotes, and other solicitations for Gartner services.
  2. Negotiate sales contracts, purchase orders, amendments, and non-disclosure agreements.
  3. Manage Gartner's contracts and contractual relationships within assigned territory.
  4. Communicate contractual requirements to internal stakeholders.
  5. Work with the legal team on negotiations and strategies for non-standard terms and finalizing agreements.

Requirements:

  • University degree in law (JD or LLB equivalent) and approximately 5-7 years of professional experience as an in-house counsel focused on contract negotiations.
  • License with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
  • Professional proficiency in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.
  • Strong contract reading comprehension and interpretive skills.
  • Expertise in contract drafting and negotiation.
