Operational Resilience Lead for Latin America

We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead our operational resilience efforts in the region. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business continuity management, crisis management, IT and cyber continuity, physical security, and risk assessment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Direct local teams and develop talent through effective staffing and skills development strategies
  • Enhance governance and frameworks for operational resilience services in the region
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and develop local policies, standards, and guidelines for information asset protection
  • Nurture strong relationships with regional regulators and key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with CIB Americas Operational Resilience and BCM counterparts to align regional programs and objectives
  • Foster partnerships with senior business staff to promote operational resilience awareness and culture across the organization

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing resilience controls within the CIB Operational Resilience framework, identifying and assessing risks, developing and deciding on risk mitigation strategies, and reporting on operational resilience performance metrics.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English is essential
  • Proven experience in the financial services industry with expertise in Business Continuity Management, IT Continuity, or Operational Resilience
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills, with the ability to articulate key issues, points of view, and decision-making considerations effectively
