The Partner Sales Director is a leadership role that involves overseeing strategic partnerships with key organizations.
This position requires a strong understanding of the Linux and cloud software ecosystem, as well as experience in alliance or indirect sales management roles.
- Build relationships with senior executives at partner organizations
- Pursue new business opportunities and drive revenue growth
- Negotiate contracts and commercial terms
- Demonstrate expertise in large and complex organizations
- Lead partnerships with IHVs such as Lenovo, Huawei, Quanta, Fujitsu, Inspur, H3C, NEC, Asus, Ericsson, Nokia, Bull, Siemens, Dell, HPE, IBM, Supermicro
This role requires excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as passion for Ubuntu products and mission.
About the RoleThis is an opportunity to work closely with marketing, sales engineering and product management teams.
We are looking for a candidate who can deliver on targets, objectives and provide a voice of the partner.
The ideal candidate will have experience leading executive interlocks between IHV and Canonical leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and grow a team of Business Development Managers
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for joint offerings
- Oversee contract negotiations and performance tracking
- Resolve issues and ensure successful partnership outcomes
- Experience in alliance or indirect sales management roles
