Job Title: IT Support Specialist

At Sky Systems, Inc. (Skysys), we are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, and maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build, Configure, Deploy, and Maintain PCs and Peripherals: You will be responsible for building, configuring, deploying, and maintaining PCs and peripherals for our clients, ensuring they meet the required specifications and standards.
  • Asset Recovery and E-Waste Management: You will be responsible for adhering to scheduled appointments for asset recovery collections and e-waste processes, ensuring that all assets are properly disposed of and recycled.
  • Troubleshooting and Incident Resolution: You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving incidents related to hardware, software, and connectivity, ensuring that all issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Remote Support and Inventory Control: You will be responsible for providing remote support to our clients using Teams, Bomgar, or Remote Desktop, and maintaining accurate inventory control and asset management.
Requirements:
  • Technical Skills: You must have solid knowledge of Windows, IOS, or other computer operating systems, as well as experience with Service Now ticketing system, hardware troubleshooting, and technical documentation.
  • Soft Skills: You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Education and Experience: You must have an associate degree in an IT-related field or equivalent working experience, with at least 2 years of experience in information technology.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Laboratory Instruments and Related Software Applications: You must have experience with laboratory instruments and related software applications, as well as knowledge of GxP compliance and Computer Systems Validation.
  • IT Infrastructure and Architecture: You must have a working understanding of IT infrastructure and architecture, as well as knowledge of laboratory processes.
