Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Desktop Support Specialist to join our team at Sky Systems, Inc. (SkySys). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our clients, ensuring the smooth operation of their desktop systems and peripherals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Desktop Support: Provide timely and effective technical support to clients, resolving hardware and software issues, and ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Hardware and Software Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to desktop systems, peripherals, and software applications.
  • Asset Management: Manage and maintain accurate records of client assets, including inventory control and asset tracking.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain detailed documentation of technical issues, resolutions, and client interactions, as well as generate reports to support business decisions.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Quality Control (QC) representatives, to ensure seamless delivery of technical support services.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Solid knowledge of Windows, IOS, or other computer operating systems, as well as experience with Service Now ticketing system, Active Directory, SCCM, and other user and asset rights or deployment systems.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Education and Experience: Associate degree in an IT-related field or equivalent working experience, with at least 2 years of experience in information technology.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Laboratory Instruments and Software Applications: Strong knowledge of laboratory instruments and related software applications.
  • GxP Compliance and Computer Systems Validation: Experienced with GxP compliance and Computer Systems Validation.
  • IT Infrastructure and Architecture: Working understanding of IT infrastructure and architecture, with knowledge of laboratory processes preferred.
