Global Trainee Program: Finance and Business Development

The Global Trainee Program in Finance and Business Control at ABB is a 18-24 month program designed to provide meaningful and challenging work experience through exposure to various ABB operations.
As a trainee, you will gain insight into the areas of operational controlling, accounting and reporting, business and product features, project controlling and analysis, cash flow management, financial and risk analysis, strategic controlling and finance, value creation and shareholder value, business planning and evaluation, and strategic planning and development.
You will be assigned a mentor from the beginning of the program who will act as a coach and guide you through your early professional life. You will also receive a personal tutor who will supervise you during each individual assignment.
The program structure consists of three assignments: Home Country (6 months), ABB Headquarters (6 months), and Global Exposure (6-12 months). You will have the opportunity to choose your assignment from a variety of options and be actively involved in the organization of your final assignment.
We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate the following qualities: recent university graduates with above average degrees in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related majors, excellent language skills, mature and professional personality, flexible team player, and persistent and driving individual.
