Senior Product Director - Latin America and Caribbean

This is a key leadership role responsible for driving Mastercard's strategy in the evolving payments landscape across Latin America and the Caribbean.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a tailored strategy for Alternative Payment Methods (APMs) in LAC, meeting the unique needs of the region.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing strategic plans to drive APM solutions in LAC, ensuring alignment with regional market trends and consumer preferences.
  • Liaising between local and global teams to ensure timely execution and readiness of key workstreams, including deployment and implementation of APM solutions.
  • Partnering with regional market development teams to drive engagement with regional players and support the growth of APMs in LAC.
  • Providing technical expertise to support implementation and customer-facing teams, ensuring seamless delivery of APM solutions to customers.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, vision, and high energy, with experience in Payments, Ecommerce, Financial Services, and/or Technology sectors. They will also have solid product management experience, collaboration, influence, and motivation skills, as well as fluency in English and Spanish or Portuguese.

About You

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional who can champion innovation practices, identify opportunities to drive incremental revenue, and create strategic documents and presentations for Sr Management and regional counterparts.

Key qualifications include:

  • Proven track record of success in product management, with experience in developing and executing strategic plans to drive business growth.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex data sets and identify key trends and insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish or Portuguese, with ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
