We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join our team as a Generalist.
Key Responsibilities- Drive Strategic HR Projects: Implement changes and improve processes to drive business results.
- Maintain Accurate Employee Records: Ensure up-to-date records in the HRIS system, including new hires, terms, and leaves of absence.
- Support Recruiting Efforts: Post job opportunities, screen resumes, conduct interviews, and extend offers.
- Coordinate New-Employee Orientation: Prepare first-week schedules and facilitate mentoring/summer intern programs.
- Assist with Employee Benefit Administration: Maintain and update employee files, support annual open enrollment cycle, and prepare benefit communication materials.
- Evaluate Compensation Structure: Assess market data and develop effective compensation communication strategy.
- Address Employee Inquiries: Respond to questions regarding policies, procedures, and company benefits.
- Support Performance Management Cycle: Assist with mandatory reports, audits, and compliance requirements.
- 5+ years of experience within an HR department.
- Deep knowledge of HR functions, policies, and best practices.
- Expert technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Aptitude for problem-solving and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies.
- Knowledge of HRIS and ability to learn new technical systems.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to interface with all levels of employees and external entities.
- Must be organized, dependable, professional, and confident.
Essential Skills: HRIS, Microsoft Office, Communication, Problem-Solving, Organizational Skills.
