Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Crash and Safety Solutions Expert to join our Global Technical Team. As a key member of our team, you will support technical pre and post sales activities for our worldwide customer base. Your primary responsibility will be to enable customers to use and deploy Altair's products of crash and safety software in pre- and post-sales situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for both pre & post sales such as training and technical end user support, sales presentations, product demonstrations, as well as seminars.
- Assist customers and prospects with software evaluation and benchmarks when required.
- Develop materials for our knowledge database, technical demonstrations, seminars, etc.
- Interact and learn with development teams & collect feedback to guarantee our customer's requirements are met in developing new and/or upgraded products.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/ Master's in Mechanical Engineering
- Aptitude for solving engineering problems
- Ability to work well both autonomously and within a team environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English
- Formal presentation or training delivery skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 + years' experience in explicit/implicit analysis with a focus on Crash, Safety and/or Impact
- Familiarity with Altair solutions like Radioss/OptiStruct and HyperWorks or Simlab solutions
- Exposure to LS-Dyna/ABAQUS and other implicit/explicit codes
- Fluency in other languages other than English
