Shopify Support Role

This position involves providing technical support for Shopify, troubleshooting critical issues and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • - Analyze and resolve Shopify-related technical problems;
  • - Develop key system components and optimize delivery time;
  • - Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and validation of updates;
  • - Troubleshoot site issues using various tools (commercial/open-source);
  • - Collaborate with Product Management on system capability and solutions;
  • - Work with Development to ensure technical requirements and performance;

Requirements:

  • Mandatory Skills:
  • - 5+ years of Shopify development experience;
  • - Solid understanding of the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and methodologies;
  • - Flexibility to occasionally work non-traditional hours within a 24/7 support environment;
  • - Experience troubleshooting site issues using various tools (commercial/open-source);
  • Nice to Have Skills:
  • - Previous experience in customer service or technical support;
  • - Salesforce Cloud experience;
  • - Proficiency in core JavaScript (or a popular variant).
