We are seeking a top-performing business development professional to join our team as an M&A Associate.

This role involves sourcing, qualifying, and managing a pipeline of acquisition opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, business development, and financial acumen, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

As a key member of our origination team, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential M&A company targets and opportunities aligning with our strategic and financial criteria.

You will establish and maintain relationships with CEOs, business owners, senior executives, brokers, PE & VC funds, and other stakeholders through meaningful dialogue.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential M&A opportunities.
  • Develop and execute a cold outreach strategy to engage target companies.
  • Track activities and maintain relevant information in CRM.
  • Review company materials on an opportunity basis.
  • Conduct assessments of target industry and competitive landscape, identifying key industry trends and emerging players.

Requirements for this position include:

  • 2+ years of experience in M&A sourcing, SaaS business development, enterprise sales, investor relations, or entrepreneurship/start-up.
  • Exceptional business sense and ability to work autonomously in a high-performance entrepreneurial environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with exemplary relationship and rapport building skills.
  • Proficiency in deal sourcing and cold outreach (cold-calling, e-mail, and other relevant outreach channels).
  • Self-starter with the ability to take ownership and initiative to drive projects to completion and demonstrate intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid understanding of company financial information and analysis of historical performance.
  • Advanced time management, attention to detail, organizational, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Adaptable and flexible, able to respond to changing work priorities, pressure, and demands.
