Pricing Setting Specialist Job Description

Job Summary: The role of Pricing Setting Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies that align with the company's portfolio strategy and financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze price performance versus policy across various sales channels and regions to identify areas of improvement.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and profitability by analyzing market trends and customer behavior.
  • Create sales performance reports to provide visibility into business results and inform decision-making.
  • Analyze quantity of stocks and statistical curves to anticipate market movements and make informed pricing decisions.
  • Collaborate with trading teams to optimize price policy adjustments and improve overall business performance.
  • Analyze markets and create scenarios to inform pricing decisions and drive business growth.
  • Evaluate product price positioning and relationships between different categories and brands to ensure optimal pricing strategies.
  • Develop and maintain accurate price lists for all market segments of the company.
  • Analyze price and profitability indicators to ensure the development and control of business strategies and plans.
  • Track and analyze key metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Support commercial teams in pricing decisions to achieve sales, margins, and competitiveness goals.
  • Ensure effective execution of internal processes and monitor sales indicators.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Advanced Excel skills (mandatory).
  • PowerPoint knowledge (mandatory).
  • Knowledge of VBA, Tableau, Cognos (desired).
  • Pricing experience (mandatory).
  • Previous industry experience (desired).
  • Experience in analysis and interpretation of sales results (desired).
  • Advanced English language skills (desired).
