Position Overview:

The individual in this role will act as a key liaison among Sales, Marketing, and POS development teams to oversee the Point of Sale (POS) portfolio, ensuring that tailored solutions are provided to fulfill all POS requirements. This position will involve collaboration with International Commercial teams, Business Development, Brand Marketing, Accounting and Finance Departments, Retailers, Bottlers, POS Customer Service, Category Management, and Operations Departments. Additionally, engagement with MEC customers will be essential to comprehend their needs, alongside working with vendors and POS Procurement to spearhead new initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of the POS portfolio, including inventory control and the handling of obsolete items.
  • Collaborate with FMM and sales teams to evaluate the functionality of the existing portfolio.
  • Conduct semiannual surveys of the sales force to gather insights.
  • Establish internal protocols for the justification of new materials to enhance the POS portfolio.
  • Direct the internal and external briefs for new projects and items on the E-Commerce platform (including images, information, estimated time of arrival, and usage) and disseminate updates through newsletters and the E-Commerce site.
  • Partner with Brand Marketing, POS development, and Commercialization Business Development teams to create leading POS initiatives.
  • Facilitate and organize meetings for the POS Steering Committee.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to address custom requirements for specific retailers, participate in customer meetings, and present POS updates during Sales and Marketing meetings and conference calls.
  • Work alongside Bottlers, IT, graphics teams, and consultants to implement desired enhancements.
  • Communicate specifications and warranty details regarding the cold equipment portfolio.

Position Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Merchandising, Procurement, Marketing/Engineering, or Consumer Products.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management within the FMCG sector.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experienced SAP user with a background in Project Management.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
