About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting hardware, software, and operating system issues.
Key Responsibilities- Install, troubleshoot, and repair desktops, printers, laptops, and other computer peripherals.
- Perform hands-on experience in enterprise LAN and WAN setups and concepts.
- Lift and move computer equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Provide desk-side support and PC break/fix services, including basic administration of Windows O/S.
- Experience with Anti-spyware and Anti-virus software.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and RDP.
- Associate degree in Electronics or related field.
- CompTIA A+ Certification.
- Knowledge of ticketing tools (ServiceNow / Remedy etc.).
- Basic understanding and troubleshooting of Mobile Device Management systems (AirWatch / XenMobile / MobileIron etc).
- Good written and oral communication skills.
