Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Shift Supervisor to join our retail team. This full-time position is responsible for assisting the store manager in providing work direction to a team of store associates and maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and product quality.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Perform tasks during any shift based on business needs.
  • Be willing to work at different locations as directed by your District Manager based on business requirements.
  • Ensure every customer receives immediate and undivided attention from staff members.
  • Identify, communicate, and delegate responsibilities to employees to ensure smooth operations.
  • Create a positive learning environment by providing clear coaching to employees on shift to improve operational excellence and employee performance.
  • Assist with new employee training by positively reinforcing successful performance and providing respectful coaching as needed. Provide feedback to the store manager on employee performance.
  • Maintain inventory levels within established standards within c-store operations.
  • Develop positive relationships with shift team members by understanding individual motivation, needs, and concerns.
  • Follow operational policies, procedures, including those for cash handling, safety, and security. Ensure employee safety during their shift and document any incidents that occur.
  • Complete Company sponsored training and required updates within specified time frames.
  • Be willing and able to complete necessary store paperwork at various locations you work at.
  • Possess well-developed oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with employees.
  • Assist in maintaining an environment for effective teamwork where employees feel valued and respected.
  • Exhibit good math skills to calculate change, volume sales, tax percentages, balance cash registers, and deli inventory usage.
  • Provide feedback to the store manager on team performance.
  • Regular attendance and presence at work are required.
  • Must be able to work primarily any shift, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Sit/stand for extended periods, lift 50 pounds to move, stack, store, and handle inventory. Must be able to stand, stoop, and bend for extended periods. Must be able to work inside coolers to stock and maintain inventory. Must be able to ascend and descend safely a five-foot ladder.
  • Your mileage will be submitted in an organized and prompt manner monthly.
  • Organize and execute duties as assigned.
