Sales Director for Stand-Alone Software
About the Role:The Sales Director will be responsible for driving sales growth in the assigned region, while providing support to regional sales team members as needed. This role requires a strong ability to develop and execute account plans, build relationships with customers, and provide market intelligence to senior leadership.
Responsibilities:- Direct sales of stand-alone software products in the assigned region and/or assigned accounts.
- Prospecting within existing and prospective customers in the assigned territory/customers.
- Build and execute account/territory plans incorporating software sales strategies to deliver accurate business forecasts.
- Assist global accounts sales managers with locations/installations that may exist in the assigned territory.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related area.
- 3+ years of relevant direct sales or sales support experience in industrial stand-alone software.
- Energetic Sales Expert - motivated by results and ultimately long-term customer satisfaction.
- MBA or equivalent experience/qualification.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering disciplines that service the process industries.
- Experience in selling process performance solutions such as optimization, asset management, and simulation.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time within the region.
