Flacks Group

for the contemplated divestment of its assets producing kaolin, ground calcium carbonate (“GCC”), precipitated calcium carbonate (“PCC”), and talc, which primarily serve the paper markets in North Americas, South America, Asia and Europe.

The future company formed by all these industrial sites, kaolin mine, port and logistic hubs is foreseen to start its operation under a new brand in the course of 2024. It will offer mineral solutions for industries worldwide. Currently serving mostly the paper and board markets, the new company will use its global footprint, unique assets and longstanding know-how to develop new business opportunities and foster innovation. Sustainability is a core value of this company.

With an annual revenue of around 350 million euros in 2023, this activity will employ about 1000 employees. The Company needs to reinforce the existing teams to operate as a standalone organization but also to meet its ambitious development plans.

Role overview

Drive organic and inorganic growth for customers and prospects in the perimeter you are responsible for. Support business and market developments, working with Business Development, S&T and Marketing.

Be responsible for the profitability of the activity on all the customers present in your perimeter.

Missions
- Develop and Execute the commercial roadmaps developed for your segment / products / perimeter;
- Execution of price increase as per the pricing strategy;
- Account Management, scope includes (but not limited to): negotiating short term and long term contracts, identifying growth / profitability improvement opportunities and advancing relationships with customers in order to maximize our share in the addressable markets
- Ensure business performance by servicing existing customer base (or exceeding) their expectations and developing new growth opportunities
- Develop plans and strategies for developing new commercial opportunities and achieving the sales goals with a strong ability to build both internal and external relationships;
- Establishing and nurturing relationships with customers (multi-level management - upper management, purchasing, R&D);
- Analyses of sales trends and preparation of reports for management and advise on business;
- Participate to the building of the annual sales plan, budget, forecasts and mid term plan for your perimeter;
- Ensure forecast accuracy and jointly manage customer relationship with Customer Service Team;
- Ensure the promotion of customer focus in the organization.
- Feed CRM with customer, market and competitor information

Responsibilities

- Strong knowledge of the Paper & Board Market

Qualification & Experience:
Degree in preferably Chemistry, or Chemical or Mechanical Engineering

Experience: minimum 5 years experience on commercial role with strong exposure to complex customers

Fluent in English and Spanish
