Who will you be working with?
The Senior Sales Manager will serve as the key interface with the customer and will effectively manage interactions across the full range of products, including heat exchangers and turbochargers.
How will you make a difference?
The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth in Wabtec's industrial business in the LATAM region, focusing on the renewables, power generation, and steel processing segments.
What do we want to know about you?
- Commercial experience, including sales, business development, or product management
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration
- Fluent in English; Spanish is desirable
- Experience in managing large accounts in the renewables, power generation, and steel processing industries
- Knowledge of heat exchangers and turbochargers products and services, with strong industry and technical depth
- Proven business and sales leadership skills, with a successful track record of growth and margin retention
- Competitive drive, resilience, courage, determination, and passion
- Ability to establish effective customer partnerships and understand stakeholder analysis, engagement, and influence
- Demonstrated leadership in business teams, both externally with customers and internally with Marketing, Engineering, and Product Management
- Executive presence, confidence, communication, influence, and superior negotiation skills
- Ability to lead and manage through changing business conditions
- Expertise in establishing value/price offers, combined with reality-based product and service differentiation
What will your typical day look like?
- Be responsible for business and sales growth leadership for Wabtec's Industrial portfolio in the region.
- Develop influential and effective relationships at all levels of the customer’s organization and create strategies to win business.
- Integrate the technical support team, including contracts, finance, product support, and others, in the implementation of customer strategies.
- Lead an integrated sales team to identify and create customer needs (CTQ/VOOC), solving business problems through a consultative, outcome-focused approach.
- Develop marketing, sales, and strategic business plans, and be responsible for delivering revenue commitments.
- Provide specific leadership, plans, and actions to ensure that Wabtec wins profitable sales.
- Develop customer strategies, campaign plans, and lead their execution.
- Be responsible for overall customer satisfaction evaluation, planning, and follow-through.
