This team is responsible for collecting, managing, and ensuring the quality of the vast amounts of data that fuel our insights and analytics.
By leveraging a variety of data sources—including retailer partnerships, digital platforms, and in-store technologies—Data Acquisition ensures that our clients receive accurate, timely, and comprehensive information about consumer behavior and market trends.
The team works cross-functionally with technology, operations, and commercial teams to continuously innovate and optimize data collection processes, making it possible for NielsenIQ to deliver best-in-class solutions to our clients around the world.We are seeking a Data Acquisition Leader in Brazil to oversee and drive Field Operations at a national level.
This role is accountable for the overall fiscal and operational performance of the Field Operations team, which includes Quality Control Tower (QCT) Executives and Field Auditors.
The ideal candidate will lead with strategic vision, ensuring high-quality data collection, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement across all field activities.ResponsibilitiesLead and motivate the Field Operations team to deliver high-quality, timely, and validated data representative of the market, coaching and developing leaders and associates to build a strong talent pipeline.Align operational and business strategies through effective partnerships with local, regional, and global stakeholders, ensuring Field Managers and Team Leaders have the necessary resources to meet business requirements.Plan and direct field operations to ensure efficient data collection and delivery, managing fiscal planning, budgeting, and financial performance of the Collection Team.Drive productivity and optimize organizational efficiency to meet business goals, collaborating with Operations leadership to define and execute market strategies.Promote continuous improvement and excellence in field collection operations, monitoring organizational performance through improvement programs and regular reviews.Partner with Global Enablement teams to implement and maintain standards and governance, mentoring and developing high-potential individuals for future leadership roles.Empower Field Managers and Team Leaders in strategic planning and resource management, fostering a culture of collaboration and integration across Input Operations.Ensure compliance with all relevant personnel policies, business practices, and regulations.Coordinate with Data Acquisition Leaders on operational support activities.QualificationsBachelor's DegreeStrong experience with a leadership level position within Operations or ProductionMulti-functional business experience leading within dynamic organizationsExperience managing budgets in a complex business environmentExperience managing operations outsourcing/off shoring initiativesExperience developing and implementing strategic business plans and new organizational designsExperience with operational transformation programsAdvanced proficiency in English and Spanish – both written and verbal communication skills are required to effectively collaborate across regional and global teams.Demonstrated capability to balance short term focus with long term planning to deliver business objectives.Excellent interpersonal, communications, public speaking, and presentation skills.Technology knowledge and innovative mindset.Comfortable operating in environments of uncertainty due to transformation and changes.Ability to generate respect and trust from employees and external constituencies; capable of energizing and empowering a diverse, multi-cultural operation.Our BenefitsFlexible work environment with Hybrid work modelPeer to peer recognition programComprehensive health insuranceWellhubShort FridayAnnual BonusCareer development tailored to NielsenIQ rolesAccess to on-demand learning content and NIQ social communitiesMentoring more
