In this critical role, you will be responsible for supporting the BDM in the effective management of our agent network, customer relationship and our profitability. You will help the BDM with optimum market penetration, share and presence of Western Union, achievement of annual transactions, revenue, and profit targets as well as network development targets and the introduction of new products.

Role Responsibilities

Sourcing of Exchange rate on daily basis from all Western Union partner Banks in Brazil daily. Daily reach out to key corridors to collect WU rate and compare with competition rate. Negotiate and secure deals with Banks to secure the best exchange rate.  Collect information on Competition Dealing rates with different banks.  Co-ordinate with country leadership to arrive at the daily rate on a Bank level.  Co-ordinate with Fx team to ensure multiple rates are uploaded.  Ensure that Western Unions rates are higher than the market at most times.  Coordinate with Banks and Marketing team to enable campaigns during festive/ lean season.  Projecting economic and currency volatility trends in the market and setting strategy. Maintain relationships with all agent partners.  Assist agent in settlement queries as per the exchange deal and actual settlement rate.  Identify New agent and product opportunity in the market.  Assist Country Manager in day-to-day business operation as and when required.

Role Requirements

2+ years of client relationship management and 2+ years of experience sales and/or marketing. Bachelor’s degree. Experience in Financial services products. Relationship management enables building strong relationships with partners, agents, distributors. Sound Knowledge of cross border, payment, or remittance industry. Experience of working with Banks and Financial Institutions. Dealing with Exchange rate for or on behalf of Cross border payment companies or Banks will be added advantage. Understanding of Foreign exchange volatility, global and country economic trends. Understanding of remittance market and Bangladesh diaspora will be added advantage. Sound knowledge of accounting and settlement.
