The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced engineer to join the Cybersecurity/IT Engineering team as a full-time Manager of IT. The ideal candidate is comfortable wearing many hats, including supporting end users, managing endpoints, automating identity and access management, and administering cloud-based IT systems and tools. A successful candidate will have demonstrated prior success in similar roles within rapidly growing, security-first environments. The right person is passionate about automation, scripting, and building infrastructure as code, while also helping end users who need assistance. You will participate in the design, implementation and management of our growing corporate cloud-first infrastructure and networks. You will need to be highly motivated, dependable, and an experienced technologist who collaborates with Cybersecurity/IT peers and stakeholder teams including Customer Success, Marketing, Engineering and HR. This role reports to the Director of IT. This role is customer-facing and serves as the first line of support for employees via channels such as Slack and Jira. You will manage procurement and delivery of technology equipment, oversee tech onboarding for new employees and tech retrieval for departing staff, and develop programs, policies and tools. You will support and manage SaaS applications (Google Workspace, Slack, Jamf Pro/Protect/Connect, Okta, Jira, etc.) and Mac endpoint/mobile device management tools. You will contribute to improvements on IDP and SSO tools (GSuite, Okta) and document solutions with help articles and automation. You will manage incidents and prioritize help desk tickets, work on projects over sprints, and align objectives with team and company goals. What You Bring to Ledn 7+ years in SaaS systems administration: Jamf Pro, Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Jira, Netsuite. Ability to create automations using bash, zsh, python, etc. and to utilize open source tools (Nudge, CIS Benchmark scripts, SplashBuddy, Munki, etc.). Experience integrating SSO into Okta and creating workflows in Okta; working with APIs to integrate systems. Remote support across multiple countries/time zones; shipping and receiving hardware and customs. Exceptional communication skills across media; clear writing in tickets, email, and Slack. Clear, friendly, concise communication sensitive to different cultures; a mindset to provide a magical user experience; emphasis on security (understanding PGP) and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing and switching). Ability to self-manage, scope projects, and work across multiple teams; strong organizational and task-management skills; comfortable with ambiguity. Nice to Haves Some familiarity with AWS; experience with GAM and command-line interfaces to improve efficiency. Jamf certifications, Okta certifications, Google Workspace certifications.
