The Opportunity: We are looking for an experienced engineer to join the Cybersecurity/IT Engineering team as a full-time Manager of IT. The ideal candidate is comfortable wearing many hats, including supporting end users, managing endpoints, automating identity and access management, and administering cloud-based IT systems and tools. A successful candidate will have demonstrated prior success in similar roles within rapidly growing, security-first environments. The right person is passionate about automation, scripting, and building infrastructure as code, and is excited to help end users who need assistance. You will participate in the design, implementation and management of our growing corporate cloud-first infrastructure and networks. You should be passionate about innovation, creative problem solving, and adaptable to the changing corporate infrastructure landscape. You will be a motivated, dependable technologist who enjoys a fast-moving, execution-oriented team. You will work closely with Cybersecurity/IT peers and key stakeholders across Customer Success, Marketing, Engineering and HR. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator and fast learner seeking a supportive environment to grow their IT skills and expertise. This role reports to the Director of IT. Responsibilities • Be customer-facing and the first line of support; own support for employees via Slack, Jira, and other channels. Proactively troubleshoot, document, and resolve issues. Provisions and delivers technology equipment and manages tech onboarding and offboarding for employees. • Design, test, build, and document programs, policies, and tools; contribute improvements to existing knowledge with experience and background. Manage SaaS applications (Google Workspace, Slack, Jamf Pro/Protect/Connect, Okta, Jira, etc.). • Manage Mac endpoints and mobile device management tools (MDM/EMM). Own improvements on identity and access management (IDP/SSO with GSuite, Okta, etc.). Write clear solutions and help articles; automate repetitive tasks. Manage incidents to resolution; handle help desk tickets with effective prioritization. Participate in project work across sprints using Jira and Agile methods. Set and pursue objectives and key results aligned with team and company goals. • Lead and contribute to IT infrastructure initiatives across multiple teams and time zones; ensure reliable IT support for a global workforce. What You Bring to Ledn 7+ years in SaaS systems administration (Jamf Pro, Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Jira, Netsuite). Ability to create automations using bash, zsh, Python, etc. Experience with open-source tools (Nudge, CIS Benchmark scripts, SplashBuddy, Munki, etc.). Ability to integrate SSO into Okta and create workflows in Okta; API integration experience. Remote support experience across multiple countries/time zones; ability to handle hardware shipping/receiving and customs. Excellent communication skills; ability to explain complex concepts clearly and empathetically; strong writing skills for tickets, email, or Slack. Clear, friendly, concise writing; sensitivity to different cultures; commitment to security (knowledge of PGP). Networking fundamentals and troubleshooting across OSI layers; ability to self-manage, scope projects, and coordinate across teams. Strong organizational and task-management skills; ability to adapt to ambiguity in a fast-paced environment. Nice to Have: Some familiarity with AWS; experience with GAM and command-line tools; Jamf/Okta/Google Workspace certifications.
