The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced engineer to join the Cybersecurity/IT Engineering team as a full‑time Manager of IT. The ideal candidate is comfortable wearing many hats including supporting end users, managing endpoints, automating identity and access management, and administering cloud-based IT systems and tools. A successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in similar roles within rapidly growing, security‑first environments. The right person is passionate about automation, scripting, and infrastructure as code. You will participate in the design, implementation and management of our growing corporate cloud‑first infrastructure and networks. You should be adaptable, a strong communicator, and eager to grow IT skills in a fast‑moving, execution‑oriented team. This role reports to the Director of IT. You will be customer‑facing and act as the first line of support for employees via channels like Slack and Jira. We’re primarily Mac environments, and you will manage procurement, onboarding, and lifecycle of technology equipment. You will contribute to documentation, policies, and improvements to our knowledge base, and you will manage SaaS applications including Google Workspace, Slack, Jamf Pro/Protect/Connect, Okta, Jira, and related tools. You will manage Mac endpoint and mobile device management tools and contribute to IDP/SSO improvements (GSuite, Okta, etc.). You will work on projects across sprints, document your work in Jira, and align objectives with team and company goals. You will set and pursue your own objectives and key results with minimal direction while collaborating with Cybersecurity/IT peers and stakeholders across Customer Success, Marketing, Engineering and HR. What You Bring to Ledn 7+ years in SaaS systems administration: Jamf Pro, Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Jira, Netsuite Ability to create automations using bash, zsh, python, etc. Experience with open source tools such as Nudge, CIS Benchmark scripts, SplashBuddy, Munki, etc. Ability to integrate SSO into Okta and create workflows in Okta; knowledge of APIs and system integrations Remote support experience across multiple countries/time zones; handling hardware shipping/receiving and customs Exceptional communication skills across all media; clear writing for tickets, email, and Slack Strong troubleshooting skills, enterprise macOS experience, and ability to work independently Understanding of networking fundamentals and OSI model; ability to troubleshoot methodically Self-management and the ability to scope projects and work across multiple teams Nice to Haves Some familiarity with AWS Experience using GAM and command‑line tools to increase efficiency Jamf certifications, Okta certifications, Google Workspace certifications Culture fit: thrives in startup/tech environments and embodies Ledn values Culture Fit Demonstrates integrity and accountability with confidential information Collaborative partner across functions and cultures with empathy and clarity Experience working in a remote environment and navigating ambiguity What We Provide Comprehensive total rewards package starting on day one Competitive PTO and ownership in the company through equity Remote-friendly policy allowing work from anywhere globally for up to 180 days per year A purpose-driven career and a commitment to removing barriers so you can do your best work We are an equal opportunity employment organization and pride ourselves on inclusivity, diversity, and the success that comes from diversity.
