Position Summary:

As Market Access Manager for Biocon Biologics do Brazil, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies to ensure access to market for the company's biosimilar products. This role will require a comprehensive understanding of the regulatory environment, competition, and pharmaceutical market dynamics, as well as analytical and negotiation skills to ensure the competitive positioning of biosimilar products.


Responsibilities:


Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, healthcare professionals, payers, and other relevant stakeholders to positively influence access to biosimilar products.


Market Analysis: Conduct detailed market analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and challenges in the context of biosimilar products, using quantitative and qualitative data to inform strategic decisions. Without limiting the analysis only to prices and following BB Brazil's compliance rules.

Strategic Development: Develop and execute strategic plans to ensure successful market access of biosimilar products, aligned with the company's business objectives.


Education and Training: Provide adequate education and training to physicians on the benefits and differentials of biosimilar products produced by Biocon, through daily contacts or events generated for this purpose.

Contract and Partnership Negotiation: Conduct contract and partnership negotiations with payers and other strategic partners to ensure the inclusion of biosimilar products in forms and ensure adequate coverage. Following Biocon's internal practices where we preserve the

Pricing and Reimbursement Analysis: Collaborate with internal teams to conduct pricing and reimbursement analysis and develop competitive and sustainable pricing strategies for biosimilar products.


Budget Management: Efficiently manage the budget allocated for activities related to market access, ensuring maximum return on investment.


Key Performance Indicators


  • Demand generated, captured by available information such as IQVIA and or Distributor Sales Map, demand generated to meet bids won in private or public hospitals.
  • Carrying out the planning of visits and activities previously inserted in the current monitoring system (Inspire).
  • Visits to doctors, pharmacists and buyers carried out and reported within the current system (inspire).
  • The objectives of each geographical area will be sent individually, and may change whenever and whenever necessary due to the lack of products or new releases.



Requirements:


  • Academic background in related areas, such as Pharmacy, Administration, Economics or related areas.
  • Previous experience in similar roles in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably with a focus on biosimilar products.
  • Solid knowledge of the healthcare system, regulation, and reimbursement policies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Results-oriented and ability to adapt to a dynamic and ever-changing environment.
  • Fluency in English, with knowledge in other languages relevant to the market in question being desirable.
