The Strategy and Business Development Professional teams up developing, overseeing and driving the strategic initiatives of Gas Service in Brazil, Regional Service Unit. This role collaborates closely and actively with Sales & Marketing, Service Operations, Service Programs, EHS/Quality and the Controls and Digitalization functional teams, in the development of strategic initiatives, analysis, research and business models to support and grow the business. Furthermore, the role calls for the ability to identify and follow up on leads, exceptional skills in selling products/services and closing deals. This role works together with Latin America Generation (Central), Industrial and Oil & Gas (Distributed), customers liaising with the various business counterparts (internally and externally) in the development and execution of their strategic projects. Even though sales activities are expected across the entire portfolio, O&G markets to be in the spotlight.

**How You’ll Make an Impact**
- Developing O&G pipelines and achieving targeted levels of sales -engaging with sales teams and available channels to scale up the business by means of an enhanced Go-To-Market strategy
- Understanding and incorporating the O&G customer's strategy and its value-chain logic into the value proposition development
- Referring sales leads, customer feedback, and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts within the organisation to be able to respond to changing market conditions -focusing on O&G mainly
- Developing strategic targets for the assigned portfolio elements -leveraging on discovery sessions, consultative selling, and flawless deal execution
- Analyzing and maintaining market, customer, fleet, and data segmentation, creating customer and country profiles, and providing guidance and support on any internal business development process
- Lead the Market Evaluation Process, Market Outlook among other strategic planning processes of the SE GS LA Regional Service Unit as required by the business.
- Supporting of internal and external business presentations and business reports, gathering and analyzing market, competitor and customer intelligence as input to the decision-making process
- Interacting with all functions within Latin America and with partners across the business (direct / indirect)
- Supporting Customers with the development of their strategic roadmaps while promoting the Siemens Energy portfolio of services
- Working closely with functional and country head leaders, organizational units, and experts to identify and to develop leaner business processes.
- Supporting Strategy and Business Development in the creation of new Business Models
- Finding best customers solutions creating sustainable business

**What you Bring**
- BS Degree with a concentration in Business, Finance or Engineering. MBA or equivalent graduate degree preferred.
- Experience with Marketing, Sales, Business Development and/or Strategy
- Working experience in Oil and Gas Industry
- Technical knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of how the O&G Industry works, ability to identify and follow up on leads, exceptional skills in selling products and closing deals, knowledge of sales promotion techniques, negotiation techniques, consultative selling experience, neuro-linguistic programming
- Ability to manage multiple platforms and extract data from them to create market, competitor and customer intelligence reports and analysis.
- Ability to conceptualize complex quantitative analysis and build analytical models.
- Ability to communicate to management & key stakeholders with poise and credibility.
- Strong presentation skills to support detailed business plans & proposals to improve financial results.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced and demanding environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing time and resources based on business impact.
- Highly motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit; able to build strong internal relationships, and consensus and alignment on critical initiatives.
- Ability to deliver quantitative results, business understanding and strategic insights to internal partners & customers.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.
- Understanding of SE internal stakeholders and organizational structure a plus
- Ability to lead, share direction and experience with peers.
- Excel, Word, and Power Point proficiency. Tableau & Power BI/other data visualization tools a plus
- Bilingual English/Portuguese is required.
- Ideally experience working in a diverse cross-cultural business.
- 30% Travel Required
