As a **Sales Director,** your role would involve overseeing and managing the operations of the company in Brazil. You would be responsible for ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of various operational processes, as well as driving business growth and achieving strategic objectives.
**Responsabilities**:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for the LATAM NM operations, aligning them with the overall company objectives. Identify opportunities for business expansion and improvement.
- Operational Efficiency: Streamline and optimize operational processes across different departments, ensuring maximum efficiency and productivity. Identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate solutions to enhance operational performance.
- Budgeting and Cost Control: Prepare and manage the annual budget, ensuring that financial resources are allocated appropriately and expenses are controlled. Identify cost-saving measures and implement strategies to improve profitability.
- Team Management: Lead and manage a diverse team of operational staff, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work culture, ensuring that team members have the necessary skills and resources to meet their objectives.
- Vendor and Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers in the region. Negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with agreed-upon terms and conditions.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures and ensure adherence to established standards across all operational activities. Continuously monitor and evaluate processes to identify opportunities for improvement and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. Identify and mitigate operational risks, implementing appropriate controls and procedures.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on key operational metrics and present them to senior management. Analyze data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making and drive operational improvements.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Human Resources, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of operational activities with broader organizational goals.
- Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Stay updated on market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape in Brazil. Use this information to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to stay ahead of the competition.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field/experience.
- Proven experience in a senior operational leadership role.
- Strong understanding of business operations, processes, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong financial acumen and budget management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in English and Spanish (additional language skills are a plus).
