**Job Description Summary**: The Channel Sales Leader will be responsible for the Grid Automation channel sales performance across the Latin America region in relation to Orders and Market Coverage. He/She will drive the convergence of the BL (business line) commercial strategies with the existing networks of channels that include sales representatives, distributors, resellers and value-added resellers.

The challenge includes from the strategic discussions with the BL leaders to the management of the daily opportunities with the channels and BL’s sales specialists. The Channel Sales Leader will be responsible for the onboarding, commission payment reviews. He/she must ensure compliance and accountability to keep the risk profile within the region by following applicable guidelines and policies as well as supporting process effectiveness and improvement.

Essential Responsibilities:

- All activities related to channel network management: Channels Onboarding, Contract Renewals, Contract Termination / Non-renewals, Commissions, Credit Checks, Past Dues, Deliveries
- Keep a rhythm in channel interactions, perform regular visits and develop strong relationships
- Support regional leadership in forecasting, reporting and strategic initiatives. Orders / Sales reports, analysis and Quality control of the information on the tools. Follow-up eventual adjustments with Sales Specialists and update metrics created for channel management processes
- Promote workshops, training, voice-of-channel and related other actions/events with channels
- Connect with cross-functional teams to assist in the channel partner onboarding and commission payment management in line with business policies
- Work with regional channel and compliance leaders to support operationalization and enhancement of channel partner processes and activities such as onboarding and commission payment reviews
- Support strategic partner and business compliance teams by monitoring on onboarding new channel partner, documentation control, approval process
- Support and identify improvements on channel partner standard operating procedures to streamline processes lead-times
- Assist in developing data repository, processes and tools for the new needs upon channel partner processes
- Follow-up of performance of designated Channel Partners and work with low performance channels identifying their gaps and defining a recovery plan.
- Drive a culture of highest integrity and compliance within channel partners processes by enforcing GE and business standards
- Adhere to GE and GE Grid Solutions compliance policies, codes and training requirements
- Ensure contracts reflect business approved agreements and practices accordingly to compliance standards

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree or in course from an accredited university in Business Administration, Law, International Relations, Electric Engineering or related field.
- Demonstrated experience and success in the management of channel partners
- Minimum of 5 years of strong experience in managing channel partner invoice payments
- Proven coordination and influencing skills to set and drive an agenda with channel partners.
- Strong presentation, analytical and customer service skills
- Proactive, able to manage time and organize and prioritize workload
- Interpersonal flexibility, tolerance and listening skills
- Strong ethics, integrity and compliance orientation

Desired Characteristics
- Knowledgeable in international anti-corruption laws
- Strong quality improvement skills (Lean and/or Six Sigma)
- Fluent English, Portuguese and Spanish
